Technical Program

ــ Our Program consists of 5 distinct, progressive levels. Each level has its technical parts and unique exercises. All the levels put together have a total of 60 different exercises.

ــ The progression of the various levels cover everything from holding the racket correctly, to learning all the shots – defensive and attacking ones from all areas of the court, “rally type” shot sequences, court movement, basic understanding of game tactics and thought process during a rally.

ــ Players in levels 4 and 5, participate twice a week together, to play games against each other. This gives level 4 players a chance to experience rallies and point scoring and get the feel of the game. Level 5 players strive to learn more and improve their game, with the help of immediate instructor advice.

ــ The content of each level is demonstrated to players and parents regularly, to enhance awareness of the existence of a precise learning curriculum.

ـ Every quarter, trainers put forward a list of players from their group, whom they believe, have achieved the technical requirements and abilities/skills of the level they are in. The players on these lists are gathered on a day of testing and evaluation. They go on court individually with the program’s technical director to be tested.

ــ Players who pass the evaluation move onto the next level during the following quarter, while those who don’t pass, repeat the level to work on their weak points.

ــ Boys and girls who pass level 5 are entered into the academy Team as official junior members and start playing tournaments seriously.

ــ Certificates are handed out to those who pass their evaluation tests on a collective evening to celebrate their success.
